A R Brown & Co was founded in January 1986 by Alan Brown. Starting from what was a small local practice, the firm has expanded over the years and adapted to the ever changing needs of the community. Deborah Francis now leads the firm, having been been appointed as Director, and is perfectly positioned to continue the company’s successful progression. What makes us different are our shared family values and a personal approach to every piece of work we undertake. This attitude makes us a highly respected, service-driven practice and has created a very rewarding working environment.

At A R Brown & Co, we offer professional advice which we strive to deliver to our clients in a clear, approachable manner at a competitive cost. Our qualified and experienced legal team is supported by paralegals and secretaries who will combine their efforts to provide you with intelligent and practical solutions to a wide range of legal issues.

Our clients include predominantly private individuals and families, but also businesses and companies operating both nationally and overseas. Whichever category you fall into, we take the quality of our services very seriously.

We have a highly professional, qualified and dedicated team with a shared goal of providing a high-quality service at competitive prices.

We are very proud of our traditional values. Our friendly, personal approach ensures that our many satisfied customers return to us time and again and are happy to recommend us to others.

The office of A R Brown & Co meeting room is situated on the ground floor and is accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility aids. There is no hearing loop for the hearing impaired, but A R Brown & Co staff have a sensitive approach and appropriate response to those visiting the office who have a disability to ensure that their visit is a pleasant experience.
