What are we looking for?

We are currently seeking a part-time Legal Cashier with solid law firm experience.  You will be processing office and client account transactions, disbursements, handling trust receipts and payments, trial balances, bank reconciliations and producing management accounts for the Directors.

You will have proven legal finance experience, thorough knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules, and solid familiarity with office and client account processes. 

Legal Casher duties and responsibilities 

The successful applicant should have strong accounting skills and will play a key role in delivering excellent accounting assistance to the firm’s Accounts Department.  They must have good communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Key duties:

  • Use Leap Case Management Financial System
  • Recording income and outgoing payments
  • Paying invoices
  • Banking
  • Inter account transfers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Data entry
  • Producing financial reports for management
  • Managing accurate records
  • Taking debit card payments from clients over the telephone

The starting salary range is dependent upon experience.  We offer a generous annual leave allowance.
